About us
The main objective of the CREATIVE BUCHAREST ASSOCIATION - CUI 38310556 - is to promote national and international cultural values through the development of national programs and projects, for the support of national creations through theater, operas, operettas, books, magazines, films, videos, television, Internet, arts and other creative industries.
To achieve the goal, the association:
supports the translation of contemporary Romanian literary and dramatic works in world-wide languages and their publication / representation in other countries;
supports and promotes inter-ethnic cultural relations;
establishes, organizes and coordinates the cluster of creative industries under the name of Creative Bucharest Cluster;
supports the development of creative industries in the Bucharest - Ilfov region
realizes, including in partnership, artistic, animation and documentary films;
organizes any other action compatible with its object of activity
through its own projects, promotes and supports research activities in the field of creative industries
establishes and maintains links with relevant associations from the country and abroad;
grants scholarships and prizes.
The
Creative Bucharest Cluster is a structure representing the interests
of all creative industries in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, at national
and international level. A good part of the creative economy is
concentrated mainly at Bucharest level. Over half of the employees in
creative industries works in Bucharest and realizes for 69.4% of
total national turnover in this field. By establishing this cluster,
we want to develop the companies in the field, to identify and
promote the initiatives that generate innovative products and
services, to create of projects on research, development and
innovation in the field, to increase the competitiveness of the
involved enterprises, to support and promote national and
international projects on common interest.
